Lingxi Jin 金玲僖

Lingxi Jin (金玲僖) is a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Technology at Ewha Womans University, under the supervision of Prof. Hyo-Jeong So. She expects to receive her Ph.D. in August 2027, with her dissertation defense scheduled for May 2027. Her research examines how AI can support learning without replacing the cognitive processes that learning depends on. Working across Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), learning analytics, human–computer interaction (HCI), and learning experience design, she studies how learners engage with AI support, how scaffolding influences problem solving and metacognitive processes, and how interaction traces can reveal learning processes and outcomes. She has published more than ten peer-reviewed journal and conference papers as first author.

Lingxi serves as a reviewer for journals including Computers & Education Open and Behaviour & Information Technology, and as a program committee member for major conferences including LAK and ICHEC. She also served as Local Chair of the Festival of Learning 2026(co-location of AIED, EDM, and L@S).

Outside academia, she enjoys camping, climbing, and scuba diving, and holds an Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification.
