Ph.D. Candidate in Educational Technology

Hi! I’m Lingxi Jin (金玲僖), a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Technology at Ewha Womans University, working with Prof. Hyo-Jeong So as part of the Interaction Design for Learning Lab (IDL Lab).

My research focuses on the intersection of AI in Education (AIED), Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), and Learning Analytics, with a particular emphasis on LLM-enhanced learning environments. I design and study how conversational agents and teachable agents can scaffold meaningful learner–AI interactions, foster cognitive engagement, and support knowledge co-construction. I earned my M.A. in Educational Technology at Ewha and contributed to national projects on Educational Recommender Systems and Inha University’s Next-Generation Semiconductor Talent Development Project.

Outside the lab, I enjoy ⛺ camping, 🎾 tennis, and 🌊 scuba diving. If you’re interested in academic collaboration, grant work, or community initiatives, feel free to reach out at jinlingxi@ewha.ac.kr.

Starting November 2025, I’ll be in Milan as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB), Politecnico di Milano!
Feel free to reach out if you’re around 👋
